Alaska (1/6)
These pictures were taken during our trip to Alaska by cruise ship from Seattle in July 2013.

Our BA flight to Seattle. Last time we flew BA I ended up with a lap full of coffee due to turbulence but fortunately not this time.
The Arctic was mesmerising: these sheer cliffs and glacier were somewhere in Labrador.
Friends Alan and Geoffrey recommended the cruise and were our companions in Seattle and Alaska.
A breakfast pastry in a Seattle coffee bar.
This is Mark at a wavy sculpture at Seattle's Hiram M Chittenden canal locks and salmon ladder.
You could see the salmon migrating through a window at the complex (mouseover for a view higher up with more sunlight).
We associate osprey with Scotland - but they also nest in Seattle. Mouseover for a closer view of the nest.
